Open Communities promotes a housing market that is open to everyone, regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, the presence of children, marital status, sexual orientation, military discharge status, or source of income.
Choosing where you live is a right. Help protect that right by applying to serve as a volunteer with our Fair Housing program!
Next training: 2/23 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm
As a volunteer fair housing tester, you help us by posing as a home seeker and reporting your observations. Adults of any racial or ethnic group and all physical abilities are encouraged to participate. Volunteers receive fair housing training, a stipend for each completed test and travel reimbursement.
